The "Unofficial" Chris Walsh Fan Club

Vikings 24, Bengals 3 - 11/15/98

As the season wears on, Chris Walsh is only getting better. He had a tackle on the opening kickoff that was negated by a penalty. But overall, Walsh was all over the place, both on special teams and even on offense.

On a third down play, with Cris Carter being somewhat groggy from a head injury, Walsh was brought in. Although Cunningham elected to run the ball himself (what surgery?) Walsh threw a crucial block that got Cunningham past the first down marker. Later in the series, on a running play, Walsh just took out his defender. The running back never made it through the pile and Walsh was the only receiver on the play. Everyone in the stadium saw his block because they were the only two past the line of scrimmage.

Walsh seem to make friends with a few Bengal players, such as number 31. Apparently their discussions were so interesting, the official stepped in between them a few times to offer his opinion.

Once again, Walsh played cover during the game ending knee downs.

This is a 'fan site' and is not endorsed by Chris Walsh, the Minnesota Vikings or the National Football League. Heck, my Mom doesn't endorse this place.
