The "Unofficial" Chris Walsh Fan Club

Vikings 46, Cowboys 36 - 11/26/98

Stalking the sidelineIt was certainly a game of highs and lows for Chris Walsh today. On special teams, Walsh got into the thick of things, making a tackle and causing a fumble (which Dallas recovered). Please?

Walsh was also called for an illegal block on what would have been a kickoff return for a touchdown by David Palmer. FOX didn't show a reply of it, from a still image they showed, it appeared the only blocks Walsh could make would be illegal. Walsh plead his case vigerously to the officials, but to no avail. While FOX didn't show a decent replay, I watched the play on my VCR. It was a very close call.

Walsh got in one some offensive plays late in the second half, although nothing was thrown his way.

To finish the game, the Vikings had split backs during the kneel downs, again depriving Walsh of his end game duties.

I taped the game in anticipation of Walsh stepping into Reed's shoes, but even though that did not happen, Walsh sure showed up on TV a lot.

Looks like number 81 would like to get in on some defese. Check out this quicktime movie. It's 820k. It's kinda fun to play in slo-mo.
